Adventure to Bali+West Papua for the holidays

Day 1: Welcome day
Arrive in Bali at our accomodations, drop your bags, and settle in. We’ll have our first group meeting at 3pm, and then take the rest of the day to relax and enjoy our new surroundings. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner prepared by our local Balinese mama.
Day 2: The best of Ubud
Breakfast will be followed by a morning walk through the monkey forest. We’ll enjoy lunch on a rice paddy, and then visit the famous Gunung Kawi temple. At 6pm, experience a traditional Balinese dance show. You’ll have the rest of the night free to explore as you wish.
Day 3: Travel to Sorong, West Papua New Guinea
You’ll be taken to the airport where we’ll catch a flight to the city of Sorong, located in West Papua New Guinea. We will spend the night travelling and will arrive early morning the next day.
Day 4: All Aboard our Private Boat in Dampier Canal
Set sail on our private, live-aboard boat. We’ll be surrounded by the breathtaking Sugarloaf mountains and colorful marine life. We’ll stop at three snorkeling spots: Mioscon, Blue Magic, and Friwinbonda. See Wobbegong sharks, reef sharks, and the colorful coral sea beds that drop off into the deep, crystal blue sea.
Day 5: Snorkeling in Kabui Bay
We’ll stop and jump in at Cape Kri and Sardine, two of Raja Ampat’s epic locations. See colorful coral gardens, reef sharks, manta rays, tarpons and turtles. Snorkel the world-famous dive site, “The Passage”, a narrow area between two islands that flows like a river, where the marine ecology is completely unique. Roots, tree trunks and caves mix with beautiful soft corals and sea fans. You’ll see sharks, turtles, and nudibranchs of every color.
Day 6: The Papuan Village of Arborek
Swim with manta rays in Manta Sandy, a carefully protected area where manta rays can be seen in large numbers. Get carried by the current on an exciting dive at Mike’s Point. Then, on our boat’s small speedboat, you will cruise through a mangrove forest and visit the Papuan village of Arborek, in the middle of the national park. The kids there are the sweetest - you’ll be surrounded by Papuan smiles.
Day 7: Island Hopping from Wofoh Archipelago to Aljui Bay
Snorkel with tropical fish and hop from one island to the next. 3 snorkel locations: We’ll begin in Batu Dalam and travel to Wofoh, where you’ll experience Edi’s Black Forest and Red Patch Wall. From there we’ll sail on to Aljui Bay.
Day 8: The Pearls of Aljui Bay
Dive for pearls and visit the Atlas Pearl Farm. Then we’ll drop anchor at snorkel locations: Channel Island, White Arrow, and at night, Solar Jetty. Swim with frogfish, nudibranchs, pipe fish, stone fish, indian walk man, leaf fish and possibly even catch a glipse of Raja Ampat’s famous walking shark. The speedboat captain will take you on an unforgettable sunset cruise with golden colors.
Day 9: From Kawe to the Paradise of Wayag
Snorkel in the middle of a massive cloud of fish. We’ll stop at three more snorkel locations: Channel #5, Pulau Roibe and Changgo. Then we’ll sail onwards to the incredible paradise of Wayag.
Day 10: Hiking Sugerloaf Mountain
Trek to the top of the Sugarloaf Mountains to see the unforgettable panorama of the Papuan islands. Jump in at 3 snorkel locations: Cathedral Rock, Magic Rock, and Figure Eight Rock.
Day 11: The Incredible Biodiversity of Melissa's Garden in Penemu
Melissa’s garden is one of the most beautiful coral gardens of Raja Ampat, with an incredible diversity of marine life, from sharks to schools of fish and a plethora of other sea life. We’ll also take a speedboat cruise trough Penemu’s lagoon, and check out two other snorkeling spots: Denise Eden and Galaxy.
Day 12: The Mangrove Forest and Waterfalls of Batanta
We’ll take the speedboat to a mangrove forest, and hike through the tropical rainforest to a beautiful waterfall. We’ll also stop at two other locations: Pulau Dayang North and South.
Day 13: Return to Bali
Our boat will bring us back to Sorong, and from there we will take the plane back to Bali, arriving around 9pm. From there, you’ll have the option to extend the trip.
